Lash Lift and Tint

Before your treatment

Prep your lashes: It’s essential to come in with clean lashes. Make sure you remove all makeup and oils from your lashes before your appointment. This ensures that the solution used during the treatment can properly adhere to your lashes, resulting in a better lift.

After your treatment

DO

After your lash lift, your technician will give you aftercare instructions to follow. Following these instructions is important to ensure that your lashes stay lifted for as long as possible.

Must care for your new lashes during the first 24 hours: The eyelash lift needs two days to properly set for you to enjoy its results for a long time.

Skip eye products containing oil: The products you apply on or around your eyes should contain oils, as oils act against the solution that creates the lasting curl. Check out the product labels and ensure you choose only oil-free products.

Groom your lashes daily: Gently clean your lashes and lash line with a cotton swab and an oil-free cleanser to wash away the oil, dirt, dead skin, and eye makeup before any of them builds up on your lashes.

Condition your lashes: You must condition your lashes daily to keep them in good shape. A healthy and strong lash stays curled for a long time and looks luscious.

Treat your lashes gently: It’s easy for new lashes to look a lot like doll lashes, but it doesn’t mean you should treat them like toys. Try not to pull, stroke, or play with them.

Be patient between each lash lift appointment: Eyelashes need time to recover between lash lift procedures, as it will stop them from getting over-processed and damaged. You should wait at least four weeks between lash lifts to get them to their natural state before lifting them again.

Extra tips for care: Apply castor oil to your lashes every day to keep them lifted, healthy, and strong.
Ensure you sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase, which is soft and gentler on your lashes.

AVOID

Do not get moisture on your new lashes: You can try to avoid splashing water directly at your lashes, especially if you’re trying to stop them from getting wet. Find out ways to also protect your newly curled lashes from other less obvious sources of water like sweaty environments or even while crying.

Avoid swimming for the next 24hrs after the procedure.

Avoid saunas or steam on the face or near the eyes.

Avoid eye makeup and harsh products: Go barefaced and product-free for two days to give your lash lift a longer life.

Don’t use an eyelash curler: Using an eyelash curler can damage your lash lift procedure, making it difficult for your lashes to return to normal. You may also damage your lashes by clamping a curler down on them immediately after you have an eyelash lift procedure.

Avoid waterproof mascara: You can wear mascara and other oil-free eye products after 24 hours of your lash lift. However, you need to choose the right mascara product to apply. Lash lifts and waterproof mascara are not a good combination, as the product requires thorough scrubbing to remove and can make lash lifts lose their beauty. You may want to go for water-based or mineral mascara instead.
